This little blog is almost eight years old. It has been with me through a lot of life changes. For basically my whole PhD journey. Through me going out of academia into industry then back to academia then back to industry and then back to academia… Through selling houses, buying houses, renovating houses. Getting married, having a baby.
It is weird to look back over the posts and reflect on these crazy 8 years. While I can’t see myself ever getting back to regular blogging like I did in the early days, I do hope to share more about my academic journey here. More importantly though, I want the PhD and academia posts that I have previously published available, as I hope they can be useful for current and future PhD candidates- which is why the dr.ofwhat blog lives on!
