The proposal meeting which will be held in August is edging closer and I am extremely nervous to get up and present my ideas in front of experts in the field. I feel like a novice, that anything I have to say will not be correct. I can’t focus on the presentation though, it is still a few months away and I have a lot to get done before then. Everything feels in control at the moment, which is a nice contrast from the honours year. I am still working ‘normal’ hours and I am enjoying my weekends, although the free time is still novel, perhaps that is why I started the blog. I have decided what my first study will be, a media analysis looking at how News and Current affair programs report on sharks on their Facebook pages.
